International Base Camp /Green Room
TEKIO, ORGANI-K, GYAN Mexico, IRRI Mexico, FEA, RDCDA, along with
other civil society organizations are working together to provide
the“Mirror
of Water” project, an alternative water forum
which will be held in Mexico City - March 18th till 22nd , 2006.
The
purpose:

To raise public awareness and facilitate networking
- A
space of expresion, lobbing, interaction and celebration
- To
offer practical tools and knowledge on how to improve water management
- Representatives
from each region may present and discuss innovative practices
- Provide
International attention, Media coverage, NGO Directories
What

areas in which we could use assistance are:
- Recruiting
organizations and volunteers from various regions to participate
in videoconferences, workshops, lead roundtable discussions and
distribute info
- Getting
the word out to visitors attending the World Forum and through
networks
- Volunteers
at the site, as well as interpreters to facilitate talks and conversations
